Sales Channel
Our main sales Channel is the website. We chose having a website as it is more cost effective and straight forward. Furthermore, with the current pandemic situation and lockdown restriction, it is logical to having our website as our entry into the market.
Shopify Website
Instead of building our website from scratch which would take quite some time to development and costly, we decided to use Shopify as our e-commerce platform. Shopify provides the tools necessary for small business and startups such as integrated buying/selling system, which means we can dive straight into marketing our products. It also allow us to easily tap onto other platforms such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
Live Streaming Platforms
With Live streaming gaining popularity, we decided to use it as our secondary channel as well. The appeal of livestream selling comes from selling the products at a discounted for a limited timing which would lead to an increase of demand for the item. We also plan to use these livestream platforms to demonstrate making our terrariums. Users will gain a better insight on the customisation of our terrariums which will serve as additional content and marketing for our business.
