We had our second consultation with the professors and, let's be real, there are many challenges that we're facing in terms of the direction that we're heading.
Some of the things that were pointed out was that:
KPI issues (we need to hit a certain KPI, develop strategies based on KPI and how we were going to achieve it, clock different king of KPI for different type of sales figure)
Engagement issues (we need to be hit a certain level, know what type of post gets more engagements, focus on engagement of our posts etc)
No clear strategy as we did various things at once (B2B and B2C). They mentioned that there can be pitfalls for selling to both audiences.
We have to improve our social media presence. For instance, include more hashtags into the posts and try out various postings be it informative or emotional. We have since came up with a plan on how we can boost our followings to improve out outreach.
This consultation has been very helpful for us and I'm grateful for all the detailed and well thought out advice from the professors. Let's press on!
I worked together with DateIdeas to help to promote our terrariums for Valentines Day.
Apart from that:
Stevenson and I set up a meeting to discuss our marketing strategy following our meeting from Mr Roderick. After re-evaluating our goals, we've decided to place a greater emphasis to our B2B marketing.
I've proposed for everyone to have: a quota of 3 creative and 3 non-creative terrariums over the next 6 weeks so that we can at least triple our sales.
Our group came together to discuss about the workshop which we will be holding on 2nd March 2022. We have already booked a room at Hive and are expecting about 20 pax for this workshop!
Look out for us in the upcoming Business Showcase on 9th March 2022, where we will be sharing more about Felix Natura and what we've learned so far from this venture.
