First product delivery + cohesion
Went over to NEX with Jyn to look for gift wrappers as we are providing free gift wrapping for our first 50 orders.
These were the ones that we have chosen as they best suit the theme that we were going for.
Fun fact: both of us didn't know how to gift wrap, so we were struggling at the back of Jyn's car whilst looking at youtube videos on how to wrap. 😂
Thankfully, we managed to wrap the order and delivered it safely to our customer's house! :)
Subsequently, I was tasked to wrap the remaining orders.
And... done! I tried to incorporate whatever I could find at home like decorative tapes and flowers to make it look nicer. Hopefully, our customers will like it!
Today, our team went over to Jyn's house for our 7th meetup. Here's more figurines for our future shoots!
After the meetup, I stayed back with Kelvin to work more on our tasks. Him, the editing of our site. And me, the listing on dateideas.
Thankfully, our listing went okay and we're now listed on their app! :)
Here's us (Gabriel, Nigel and I) trying to re-design our terrarium sets. On the marketing end, we'll now look into widening and improving on our marketing channels (dateideas.sg and Facebook).
What I've learnt was that entrepreneurship is not easy, and requires sacrifices to achieve success, be it sacrificing security, or control, or what I've experienced - a "regular" schedule. A business has no respect for sleep schedule, appointments, or family dinner nights. I learned to be flexible and never expect things to go as planned, but at the same time try to improve my time management skills so that I can take advantage of 5/10/15 minute windows I might find at odd times during the day. Essentially, be spontaneous with my plans and maximise productivity in my windows of unscheduled time.
